Students work through courses at their own speed, with weekly goals established by instructors based on the student’s program of study. Courses are offered for all levels, up to Honors and AP classes. FM also encourages students to prepare for post-secondary goals by offering assistance with SAT and ACT testing and applying for colleges.

The FM model for change is called Positive Peer Culture (PPC), which asserts that teens can develop self-worth, significance, dignity, and responsibility only as they become committed to the positive values of serving and caring for others.
Outdoor activities at FM are designed to contribute to leadership development and character maturation as part of a teenager’s development as a whole person. Every teen is encouraged to participate in adventure activities because of the valuable life skills that can be learned.
