Future Men is a fully accredited high school that operates under a program of independent study with tutelage. Students work through courses at their own pace, with weekly objectives established by instructors based on the student’s program of study. Courses are available for all levels, up to Honors and AP classes. FM also supports students to work toward post-secondary goals by offering assistance with SAT and ACT testing and applying for colleges.
FM recognizes that adolescents and their parents today face enormous pressure from the culture. Teens are assaulted by a barrage of negative peer pressure. The FM model for change is called Positive Peer Culture (PPC), which states that teens can develop self-worth, significance, dignity, and responsibility only as they embrace the positive values of helping and caring for others.
