FM also encourages students to work toward post-secondary goals by offering assistance with SAT and ACT testing and college applications.
FM recognizes that teens and their parents today face huge challenges from the culture. Teens are impacted by a barrage of negative peer pressure. The FM model for change is called Positive Peer Culture (PPC), which asserts that teens can learn self-worth, significance, dignity, and responsibility only as they devote themselves to the positive values of helping and caring for others.
Outdoor activities at FM are designed to contribute to leadership development and character maturation as part of a holistic approach to development. Every student is asked to play adventure activities because of the important values that can be learned.
